Battle At The Barn

Welcome to the Battle At The Barn Box Tournament!  This tourney has become a must attend event for all serious box teams to be tested by the best around!  This tournament is one of the original box tournaments in the region with a long history of great competition and competitive games.  Teams come from all over the US and Canada to test their box skills in a action packed weekend of box!

4 Divisions: Grades 5-6, 7-8, High School A & HS B. 

We are also exploring the option to have a 3rd HS division.  This would be for new teams or teams with younger HS players on it.  If this is of interest please contact us. 

Saturday Game Times: 7:30 AM - 10:30 PM (est)

Fee: $1500* per team
$500 deposit due upon registration / Balance is due November 1st, 2018.
* If paying by credit card there will be an additional 2.99% fee.  Failure to meet the final payment deadline will constitute non-acceptance of the tournament registration and a forfeiture of the tournament spot and deposit fee.

Rosters and Waivers Due: January 8, 2020.
If you miss the deadline you must still complete the waivers but any HS players that do not compete their registration will not be included in the college coaches packet.

  • 4 game guarantee with some teams getting 5
  • Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Turf playing surface - No cleats are allowed.  Flat bottom shoes only.
  • Goal Size is 4' x 4'6" 
  • Boards all around - no opening behind goals
  • Single door for each bench
  • Download the USBOXLA rule book here.
  • Hotel accommodations must be made through the USBOXLA partner PSE Event Housing.  Please use the Hotel info below to secure your rooms.
  • Every player and coach must be a member of USBOXLA for insurance and safety.  If you do not have a USBOXLA membership you need to go to and apply for either a weekend warrior membership for $20.00 or a full annual membership for $45.00.
  • Concessions are available at the facility. Please do not bring coolers, outside food or drinks.
  • Water for Teams - Please bring your own water bottles for the benches.

  • 3 x 12 min running time periods.
  • 2 min rest between periods.
  • last minute of the 3rd period is stop time.
  • game clock starts on the hour whether teams are ready or not.  Any team in violation will be given a 2min delay of game penalty.
  • 1 x 30 second timeout per game.
  • if tied after regulation time teams immediately proceed to a USBOXLA Shootout (3 shooters each and home team decides on whether they will shoot first or second).  If tied after that, there is a sudden death shootout round (all rostered players must shoot before any player shoots twice).
